A group of 30 employees from 24 Kia DIstributors in South America participated in regular service education for the year 2001, held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Miami, USA (April 2nd to 7th), and Finauto, a company located in Havana, Cuba (April 9th to 10th). Participants were taught about the procedure of making warranty contracts, Kia’s warranty policies and the use of KWMS (Kia Warranty Manual System) as a basic course. In the advance course, they were taught about the procedure of renewing warranties and compensation conditions, warranty policies on KD and converted vehicles, the KWS (Kia Warranty System) claim assessment logic and others.
The participants expressed satisfaction about the program. “In 1999,” said Mr. Richard D’Ornellas from Antigua’s Harney Motors, “I wasn’t quite sure if I knew what I learnt in the program. But this time, I think I understand Kia’s warranty system fully.”
