Kia Motors Sponsors The Korean National Ski-Jump Team to take advantage of marketing opportunities.
Kia motors announced that a signing ceremony was held in the main conference room at the head office in Yangjaedong, on the morning of the 13th with Myung-Hun Juhn, Executive Vice President of Kia Motors, Chulsoo Kwak, director of Korean Sky Association, the national players & coach and other representatives attending. Kia will support the team with 1.5 billion Won per year and supply two Carnivals for the players’ transportation to various tournaments and local training centers.
Accordingly, Kia has the right not only to display its logo on team player’s helmets, apparel and cars but also to utilize the design for the Korean National Ski-Jump Team and their group photo for company promotions and various advertising events.
Ski-Jump competitions are one of the most popular sporting events and record the highest audience ratings on TV in Europe, USA, Canada and Japan in domestic, international, Confederation and World Cup events in over 20 countries every year.
In spite of consecutive satisfactory results from various international tournaments and a high potential for obtaining medals in upcoming World Cup and Winter Olympics events, the Korean National Ski-Jump team is facing difficulties participating in events and field training due to the poor financial circumstances of the Korean Ski Association.
With this sponsorship, Kia will support the Korean National Ski-Jump Team both materially and spiritually allowing the team to devote themselves to obtaining higher scores and successful records in various events and enhance national glory.
