- 25 and 33 pyeong units were sold out to first-priority buyers. - The pre-sale recorded the highest pre-purchase application rate of 3.5:1.
Amco (Representative Director: Kim Chang-hee. www.amco.co.kr), which had pledged to provide the best quality apartments, recorded a 3.5:1 purchase application rate in its pre-sale subjecting first-priority buyers. The pre-sale was conducted during constructors’ joint apartment pre-sale in Incheon.
According to the Korea Financial Telecommunications & Clearings Institute, Amco Town (25~46 pyeong), which will be built in Samsan District and had its pre-sale during the first round of joint apartment pre-sale in Incheon, recorded the highest purchase application rate in the Incheon area on March 10.
The application rates by size was 3.2: 1 for 25-pyeong units, 3.5: 1 for 33-pyeong and 0.37: 1 for 46-pyeong. In particular, the 25 and 33-pyeong units hit the highest purchase application rate during the joint pre-sale in the entire Incheon area.
As a result, the pre-sale of 25 and 33 pyeong apartments for 2nd and 3rd priority buyers scheduled on March 11 and 14 respectively were automatically cancelled. However, the company will receive purchase applications for 46-pyeong units during the March 11 second round of pre-sale.
With many apartment units remaining unsold recently, Amco achieved the feat of recording 100% pre-sale of 20 and 30 pyeong range units to first priority buyers.
A company official said, “We had much hope and doubts for the pre-sale, since it was the first apartment pre-sale for Amco. We are so proud of achieving this remarkable performance in just one day. We thank our customers for having trust in Amco and applying for our pre-sale.”
He added, “The company will pay back handsomely with the best-quality differentiated apartments.”
A source in the pre-sale field said, “Amco Town could achieve a good result in the pre-sale to first priority buyers, as its units were particularly sophisticated but the prices were lower than those of counterparts in Samsan District by 500,000 to 1,300,000 won per pyeong.”
He explained, “The result had already been predicted since the opening of its model house. It brought home to me that a big company’s brand and financial capability win over trust from customers and serve as a crucial point that encourages customers to make up their mind to apply for a pre-purchase.”
Since its January announcement to launch the residential housing business under the brand of “Amco Town”, the company said it would provide the best quality apartments in Samsan District, Incheon, while pursuing a differentiation strategy of offering high-end interior for each unit size by reserving 44% of an apartment complex for green area, using quality indoor finishing materials, placing all housing units to face the south and creating parking lots 100% underground.
Furthermore, Amco Town is located at a transportation hub with a prompt access to Seoul-Incheon Highway, Seoul Outer Circulating Expressway, Incheon Subway Line 1 and Seoul Subway Line 7 (to be opened in 2010). The end.
