AMCO (representative director: Kim, Chang Hee - www.amco.co.kr.), subsidiary construction company of Hyundai Motor Group, announced that the company will be implementing 「Housewife Monitor System」, a new concept of collecting the opinions of consumers through on-line video conferencing.
This system, unlike the existing housewife monitor system in which the construction companies personally visit model house and occupied residential complexes in order to carry out evaluation,
will be operated differentially in the format of providing video conference system that the company
developed to the housewife monitors and collecting desired improvements and presentation of ideas
on life in apartments through video conferencing.
Mr. Yoo, Seung Ha, Director of Residential Business Division of AMCO, stated that “this system is not only convenient in its operation because of absence of temporal and spatial limitations often found in having to gather the housewife monitors chosen throughout the country at one location, but is also expected to produce substantial monitoring effect since the system is implemented in real-time video conferencing format with the relevant departments of the company dealing with the proposal for improvements by housewife monitors.”
Mr. Yoo also added that “novel opinions of housewives living in apartments have been reflected onto recent construction of apartments and products, and are being received quite favorably,” and that the company “shall continue to collect the opinions of veteran housewives and assertively reflect in our plans in order for AMCO Town to become an apartment brand name characterized with lack of inconvenience and practicality in daily living.”
AMCO will be selecting 10 monitors by receiving application of housewives who lived in apartments in capital region and Youngnam region for more than 3 years through company’s website from June 9 to 20. The chosen monitors will undergo preliminary training prior to being put into full scale activities in July.
Housewife monitors who will be selected will participate in video conferencing once a month and carry out theme presentation through video conferencing twice a month by accessing the personnel in charge at the company through video conference system installed at their respective houses. Throughout the months, the housewife monitors will perform continuous monitoring activities through internet café.
Along with this, AMCO is planning to assertively request examination of inconveniences experienced in actually living in apartments rather than proposal of unique and special ideas by putting focus on 「Establishment of practical apartment that is convenient to live in」
For these purposes, AMCO will be sharing opinions with housewife monitors by selecting 20 or so video conferencing themes on improvement of apartment life including ▲ inconvenience in internal structure and movement path ▲ improvements to be made in daily life culture and education service ▲ primary causes for waste in maintenance cost of apartment.
AMCO is introducing housewife monitor system for the purpose of minimizing the public petition of occupants of apartments by assertively reflecting the opinions of housewife monitors onto AMCO Town in Shincheon-dong, Ulsan and Premiers AMCO, a composite residential and commercial complex, to be sold in the latter half of the year, and to establish customer-centered residential space through such activities.
