AMCO will introduce apartment with new concept through external design that is different from the existing apartments and innovative 2-dimensional design for the households.
AMCO (Representative Director: Mr. Kim, Chang Hee. www.amco.co.kr), a subsidiary construction company under the umbrella of Hyundai Motor Group of Companies, announced that the company recently developed 「 Total of 28 specialized customization type design proposal for both internal and external aspects for apartment consumers 」 in order to reinforce the level of recognition of the apartment brand,
Although construction company normally develop and register copyrights for about 10 or so specialized products annually, it is quite exceptional for a construction company to develop and register 28 proposals simultaneously.
This customized type specialized design proposals were developed with focus on the ▲ design of upper, middle and lower floors of the apartment and ▲ 2-dimensional community facility for the tenants, and details include ● 2-dimensional design with environment-friendly, art and social fellowship concept for the households in the higher floors for which large trees are planted ● customized-type design that maximized the variations in the middle floors ● urban type townhouse in the lower floors, and ● community facilities for the tenants in the middle to lower floors.
AMCO is planning to review the aspects that can be applied first among the development proposals and reflect the new designs in stepwise manner commencing with the residential complexes to be sold in the future.
▲ In the case of the upper floors, high class large trees will be planted in the upper most floors of the apartments to reinforce the environment-friendly image and to endow the symbolism that one can recognize the apartment as an AMCO Town at a glance even from a far distance (Image 1).
This tree lined space was developed into customized premier class ground plan in order for the households in the penthouses in the upper most floors of the apartment to enjoy the lifestyle of preferring environment-friendly party, exhibition and well-being centered-around the trees.
▲ In the case of the middle floors, open-type designs and diverse range of specialized ground plans for portion of the building space will be introduced to provide sense of visual openness by transcending the existing shapes of all the buildings of the apartment complex with same composition of households types (Image 2).
Diverse range of utilization of this space was developed including dual floor type townhouse designed only for 2 households, customized type residential units that maximize the variations that the residents wish, and community centers for the tenants.
▲ In the case of the lower floors, underground open type relaxation space in the form of courtyard garden is introduced with the concept of visual and spatial expansion (Image 3).
In particular, ground plan for urban type townhouse equipped with individual parking lot and small garden for each household has been developed for the lower floors, in order to elevate the class and to differentiate the residential environment for the tenants in the lower floors.
▲ In the case of community facilities, it was enabled for the tenants to more easily use the facilities by boldly introducing cultural spaces in the middle floors of the apartment, and designing of composite space that allows recreation, gatherings and exhibitions in the under ground recreation facility in the lower floors.
AMCO have been pursuing aforementioned development over the last 2 years in order to accomplish this specialized design proposal, and registration of all 28 proposals were completed recently by the Copyright Deliberation Committee.
Mr. Cho, Myeong Rae, the managing director of the residential development division of AMCO, stated that "Once the specialized design proposals that we have developed is applied, AMCO TOWN will have the differentiation and symbolization that will be recognizable at a glance even when it is in the midst of large collection of apartment complex in which numerous brand names compete,” and that "We shall not be content with having been recognized for the outstanding quality of our products. Rather we will concentrate on development of innovative products.”
On the other hand, AMCO is actively pursuing development of specialized product for the energy conservation type apartment by establishing environment-friendly low energy task force team (TFT). END
