Hyundai E&C is going allout to achieve this year’s business goals by improving organizations and business processes and extending communications. On October 14, Korea’s primary builder held the 2011 domestic strategy meeting aimed to reach its business goals and, three days later, the October assembly and briefing session on business performance in the auditorium of Hyundai Building in Kye-dong in order to share its business objectives among all employees and reaffirm the determination to accomplish them. In the nine-hour domestic strategy meeting held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., about 400 participants including project managers and administrative managers at domestic construction sites, and management and staff members of the head office reviewed business objectives of each division and discussed strategies to attain the goals. They actively discussed a variety of ways to recover from the continuing global crisis and called for more thorough measures to carry out quality construction and safety management. Special attention was paid to the 2011 Hyundai E&C innovation awards ceremony and a briefing session on business performance held in the October assembly attended by about 700 employees of Hyundai E&C and its affiliate companies. Vice chairman Kim Chang-hee encouraged the employees to strive to enhance the organizations and asked them to be active in management innovation to reestablish its position as a global leading construction company.
