Hyundai E&C Hillstate Volleyball Team has finally won the trophy. On April 9, Hyundai E&C Hillstate beat Heungkuk Life Insurance Pink Spiders 3-1 in the sixth round of the 2010- 2011 NH Nonghyup V League Korea championship league of a best-of-seven series in the Suwon Gymnasium, standing at the top of the Korean professional volleyball league with a record of four wins and two losses. This is the first time for our company to win the season after the V-League was launched in 2005. The Hillstate opened its season with winning streaks. Striker Hwang Yeon-ju, Korea’s best center Yang Hyo-jin and Kenny Moreno Pino have performed well throughout the season, leading the team to reach 20 wins. The Hillstate players, who secured a victory against Korea Expressway Corporation Hi-Pass Zenith and advanced to the championship league on February 28, showed their capabilities in the final championship game. In particular, Hwang Yeon-ju set the record for attack percentage at as high as 47.76 percent and outplayed the rival. In recognition of her effective performance on the court, she was selected as this season’s MVP.
