Hyundai E&C has been selected as the Korea’s best construction company to work for. Hyundai E&C has topped the l i s t named the “2011 Korea Great Work Place Index (K-GWPI)” released by the Korea Management Association Consulting (KMAC) on June 13 in the category of construction. The KMAC has conducted a survey of about 5,200 of experts in personnel management and workers in relevant industries for three months from February, and the newly released index is classified into top 30 companies in manufacturing and service industries and best work places by industry. Candidates for the greatest work place of respective industry were selected based on the number of employees, sales volume, competitive landscape and the recommendation of HR specialists. The No. 1 company was determined depending on the total score of K-GWPI calculated in terms of corporate vision, talent management, corporate culture and overall attractiveness. Hyundai E&C gained 70 points out of 100 points, taking the No.1 ranking for two consecutive years. Notably, the company cemented its reputation as Korea’s most leading constructor by achieving even scores in all the four factors.
