The 2nd Phase sales in Sejong will commence in December.
Hyundai AMCO(Representative Director: Sohn, Hyo Won) announced that the company will Jointly supply 1,940 units of residential apartment units in 30 buildings in <Sejong AMCO Town> in the 1-3 Daily Life Zone M6 Block in the Happy City of Sejong City with Hanyang Co., Ltd. (Representative Director: Park, Sang Jin).
Sejong City is a regions that received immense interest from public servants by recording extremely high allotment competition ratio of 140:1 for sales of apartment units of “Cheotmaeul (First Village)” by private construction companies in May.
Hyundai AMCO and Hanyang Co., Ltd., which are in charge of construction of <Sejong AMCO Town> will open the model house in February and commence 2nd phase sales of the unit. Floor area plans being sold include small and medium types of 59㎡ and 84㎡ with plans to set the sales price of about 7 million Won per 3.3㎡.
Happy City <Sejong AMCO Town>, which will be established as a large scale apartment complex, was designated as a special zone for renewable environment-friendly energy with all the units facing south and application of solar electricity generation system. This system has particularly outstanding natural lighting effect, thereby substantially reducing the burden on the residents for the management cost of their apartment units.
Reporting to and from work is convenient as <Sejong AMCO Town> is in close vicinity of the Central Administrations Town, and has the optimal location with concentration of cultural, shopping, daily life convenience facilities in the central commercial district close by.
Composite community center that provides administration, cultural and welfare services including composite resident’s center (formally the municipal office), welfare facility for elder and childcare facility, and sports centers will be located in the vicinity for the daily life convenience of the residents.
The AMCO Town will be equipped with fitness center, information search space, in-door golf practice range along with bicycle path connected to the waterfront park in front of the Town, 1.2km circulating type stroll path and various sports facilities, which is expected to elevate the daily life convenience of the residents of the Town. In addition, elementary, middle and high schools are scheduled to be established within the Happy City, thereby receiving evaluation that this region has excellent educational environment.
In addition, basic design concept for the interior for the 59㎡ floor plan is practicality and individuality, while it is modern space and nature for the 84㎡ floor plan. In particular, even though this Town is composed of small and medium floor area plans, space utilization was maximized by applying innovative ground plan of 4 Bay, and selective full-option package (children’s room and dress room, etc) that enables the space design in accordance with the age and needs of the customers. In particular, customers will be able to select the furniture, wall papers and floor coverings for the kid’s room and junior room in accordance with their preferences.
Along with these, Hyundai AMCO decided to apply the wider storage spaces and special item of space of storage of bicycle within the storage shelf for shoes, which were proposed through the ‘Housewife Monitor [U'CULT maker]’ introduced in 2008.
Mr. Seo, Dae Woo, the director of Residential Division of Hyundai AMCO, stated that “we analyzed that majority of the institutional public servants being transferred to Sejong City were not able to purchase apartment in Sejoing City” and that “we are planning to target the large number of prospective purchasers who will actually occupy the units by presenting competitive sales price.”
He also stated that “although some of the construction companies had numerous disputes on the commercial feasibility of the development project at the time of the 1st Phase sale in Sejong City, we nonetheless managed to produce higher than expected activities and interests in the sales market in Sejong City,” and that “Hyundai AMCO will utilize this 2nd Phase sales as an opportunity to turn around the subdued market atmosphere until now.”
