Our company has declared a war against serious accidents in the New Year. On January 10, “Safety Inspection Day” was held at about 260 construction sites across the country. In the event attended by CEO Jung Soo-hyun, senior executive vice presidents of business divisions and PDs of sites, our company vowed to take the lead in creating a zero-accident construction culture. Although each site has so far held a self-regulating monthly event to check safety, this is the first time for our company to hold a corporate-wide event attended by management. Our company plans to instill safety consciousness and be proactive in preventing serious accidents by designating 4th day of each month “Safety Inspection Day,” encouraging management of the head quarters to participate in the event and implementing safety training and joint safety inspection. In the event, a safety resolution was recited, following paracticing safety exercises and awarding prizes to exemplry workers. Meanwhile, Construction sites at home and abroad are making all-out efforts to create safe construction environments. Recently, Karan project set a 25-million-hour-no-accident record in Saudi Arabia.
