- Facebook friends and power bloggers invited to Jincheon Plant and MOBIS Forest - A chance to help participants better understand the electric parts sector and establish a stronger network
MOBIS held a fan meeting in Jincheon, Chungbuk with power bloggers and friends on its Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/mobisworld). At this fan meeting, named “Fan Carfe,” MOBIS opened up to the participants MOBIS forest and its Jincheon Plant, the thriving heart of its automobile electric parts production.
Jincheon Plant is the country’s largest automobile electric parts plant, which produces the multimedia parts used in the AVN (Audio Video Navigation) system and telematics system. It also manufactures eco-friendly parts and intelligent parts, including LDWS, and AVM (Around View Monitor).
Those who participated in this fan meeting were taken on a tour of the showroom and Jincheon Plant itself, where they were able to witness firsthand MOBIS’ advanced production processes. They also had the chance to learn about the future of the automobile industry through a special lecture prepared around a theme of “understanding advanced automobile technologies.”
This is the first time that MOBIS opened up its Jincheon Plant to Facebook friends and bloggers, who constitute the mainstay of its online presence. The field of automobile electric parts has taken on increased importance in recent years, such that MOBIS held this fan meeting to enhance customers’ understanding of this field.
In addition, participants visited MOBIS Forest, planted in Jincheon as part of the company’s eco-friendly social activities, and also had a great time with the “Fan Carfe” managers. MOBIS has been creating its MOBIS Forest through a partnership with Jincheon City, based around a theme of “people who like MOBIS getting together.” Over the next 10 years, a total of 10 billion won will be invested in this project.
"This event was held to enhance our relationship with online users through an offline meeting, the Fan Carfe, “people who like MOBIS getting together.” It’s also a way to expand our communications. The fan meeting has provided renewed momentum in the drive to help customers better understand the electric parts used in automobiles and also to establish a close relationship with online customers,” said one MOBIS member.
Starting with this fan meeting, MOBIS plans to hold a Fan Carfe four times a year, thereby enhancing both online and offline communications.
