MOBIS announced that the packaging boxes used for Hyundai-Kia Motors genuine parts have been changed. The new boxes will be used for products produced and supplied from today.
The previous design used a combined Hyundai-Kia Motors logo, but the new packaging box (shown in the pictures) clearly differentiates the respective brand images. This is to product a unique image for both Hyundai Motors and Kia Motors, which have each become global brands. It is also designed to enhances the image of genuine parts produced in compliance with the strict design and quality specification used in the manufacture of automobiles.
For Hyundai Motors genuine parts, a sophisticated classic-blue is used as the background color to highlight Hyundai Motors image of “hope, possibility and reliability.” Kia Motors, by contrast, has genuine parts packaging that uses red colored CI on a white background, helping to highlight the company’s image of “liveliness, dynamic and vitality&quot;. However, a pictogram-pattern, which symbolizes the dashboard (a kind of symbol made for better understanding of users), was printed on both Hyundai Motors and Kia Motors packaging boxes to keep a sense of unity across the range of genuine parts.
“After selling all the existing stocks from distributors, the new packaging box will be released across the market. We will continue to promote the new packaging design so that customers can distinguish imitations from the genuine parts,” said MOBIS member.
MOBIS is responsible for supplying 1.81 million kinds of genuine parts for Hyundai Motors and Kia Motors, with 161 automobile models available in Korea as well as overseas.
