Hyundai Motor Group is developing a sustainable mobility ecosystem to ensure that future generations can enjoy free mobility in a better environment. To make clean, renewable energy the main power source for future mobility, we have joined the RE100 initiative, pledged to use renewable energy, and are expanding our business to include the new energy sector.

The Group is also incorporating its carbon-neutral strategy into the entire value chain, ranging from component purchasing to manufacturing, logistics, operations, disposal and recycling. While working on our complete transition to electrification, we are also setting up activities and strategies to create a better world, including a significant increase in the use of recycled plastics in vehicle manufacturing and the creation and restoration of the marine ecosystem.

In particular, hydrogen is a highly valuable clean energy source for future energy solutions, as it is easy to supply and store compared to conventional renewable energy sources. As a group that successfully mass-produced the world’s first hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle, Hyundai Motor Group will ensure that hydrogen can be used as a power source for future mobility, including Advanced Air Mobility(AAM), as well as conventional modes of transport such as cars, ships and trains, to bulid a sustainable mobility ecosystem.
