The FCA-JC utilizes a front-facing radar in addition to a front-facing camera and front-facing radar when a driving vehicle passes through an intersection at a speed of 10-55 km/h. Suppose a vehicle approaches at a speed of 10 to 60 km/h (warning) or 10 to 40 km/h (braking) from the left and right. The automatic avoidance steering assist is activated when the vehicle speed is between 65 and 75 km/h and warns when there is a risk of collision with a pedestrian or cyclist following the edge of the roadway.
