(MILAN / SEOUL) April 9, 2026 – Kia Corporation (Kia) will host two parallel exhibitions at Milan Design Week 2026, celebrating a new chapter in the brand’s evolution as a global leader in design. Under the theme ‘Resonance of Opposites’, the exhibitions explore Kia’s creative process and how design thinking shapes its future direction.
Rooted in Kia’s ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy, the installations trace a conceptual journey from inner reflection to real-world expression, illustrating how abstract ideas evolve into tangible design outcomes.
The first exhibition, ‘Journey of Reflection’, at Museo della Permanente, invites visitors into the inner world of Kia Design. A series of immersive and interpretive spaces reveals the creative mindset and thinking that shape Kia’s visual identity.
Running concurrently, ‘Journey of Projection’ at Salone dei Tessuti demonstrates how this philosophy is realized in physical form. The exhibition features a curated display of six concept vehicles, including the Kia Vision Meta Turismo, which will be shown publicly for the first time.
Making its fourth consecutive appearance at Milan Design Week, Kia continues to participate in global cultural dialogue through design. Running from April 20 to 26, 2026, ‘Resonance of Opposites’ highlights the core values embed-ded in Kia’s design philosophy and the brand’s ongoing exploration of innovation through creativity.
In the evenings, the ‘Journey of Reflection’ exhibition at Museo della Permanente will host a series of talk sessions and live performances, each inspired by the cultural themes explored throughout the exhibition.
‘Journey of Reflection’ will be open to visitors from April 20 through April 26, operating daily from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM (CEST). ‘Journey of Projection’ will take place from April 22 to April 26. On April 22, the experience will be open from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by regular hours of 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM from April 23 to April 26.
