To this end, the Group has established and is actively executing its mid- to long-term strategy, SDx (Software-Defined Everything), centered on software and AI.
SDx goes beyond the development of Software-Defined Vehicles (SDVs). It represents a strategic initiative to connect all modes of mobility and services—including vehicles and urban infrastructure—through software and AI, thereby creating an integrated mobility ecosystem.
Software-driven mobility enables customers to experience safer and more comfortable mobility, while establishing a foundation that enables agile and flexible responses to diverse market dynamics and evolving customer needs.
In addition, Hyundai Motor Group is developing proprietary autonomous driving technologies to realize a self-evolving mobility industry. Beginning in late 2027, the Group plans to mass-produce Level 2+ autonomous driving technologies in phases. These technologies will be offered through an open program accessible not only within the Group but also to global partners, further broadening and strengthening the autonomous driving ecosystem.
